What is QUEST? QUEST is KQED's largest multi-media science, environement, and nature series to date. It includes a weekly half-hour television program, weekly radio stories, an innovative Web site, and unique resources for educators.  QUEST has partnered with renowned Bay Area organizations to bring audiences closer to our world-class science research centers, museums, and the natural beauty of our open spaces. For additional information on QUEST and our partners visit www.kqed.org/quest.

Beginning in the fall of 2007, QUEST Education will offer FREE educator trainings in cooperation with The Bay Insititute, California Academy of Sciences, Chabot Space and Science Center, Oakland Zoo, and the Exploratorium Teacher Institute. Please visit www.quested08.eventbrite.com for additional information about the QUEST Education program and to find a list of science education offerings for the '07-'08 school year including how to register for the Educator Training Series to qualify for CEUs.

The Bay Institute (TBI) is a non-profit research, education, and advocacy organization dedicated to protecting and restoring the ecosystems of San Francisco Bay, the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta, and the rivers, streams, and watersheds tributary to the Estuary. Since 1981, TBI has worked to secure stronger protections for endangered species and habitats, improve water quality, reform how California manages its water resources, and promote comprehensive ecological restoration from the Sierra to the sea.
